ENTRI founded the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs , formerly the ENTRIpreneurs Club, in 2008 with the express purpose of providing education and support to physician entrepreneurs; idea stage through funding. ENTRI provides administrative support to the Club which is led by a Steering Committee composed entirely of physicians. Physicians that are current members of a national medical society are eligible to join the Club. The Club does not charge membership fees. ENTRI will solicit support revenues for SoPE operations from advertisers and sponsors that are interested in making themselves known to physician entrepreneurs or providing general support for physician entrepreneurship. Our next meeting is sheduled for Sept 26th-29th , 2010 during the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Boston. We have planned several seminars, courses, informal networking events and other educational offerings during the meeting.  In addition, we have created links on Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter.
